At Ripl Creative, we believe in the power of community and taking care of each other in times of need. Recently, the family of one of our dear friends and former colleagues, Lori Worley, has been severely impacted by the floods in Boone, NC, caused by Hurricane Helene.
Blake and Evan Hannon, along with their two young children (Ensley, 5, and Callum, 2), lost their home and vehicle in the floodwaters last weekend. They were forced to evacuate their condo, taking only essentials for their children and their cats. After a brief stay in Yadkinville, they are now staying with family in Bristol while they try to rebuild their lives. Blake works in Boone, and Evan’s job allows for remote work, but their desire to return to the area is complicated by the housing crisis that has worsened due to the flooding. They are currently exploring options in the Tri-Cities area.
To support Blake and Evan as they navigate this challenging time, Ripl Creative will be donating 100% of all hosting fees collected from our September invoicing directly to their family. If you feel compelled to contribute further, we welcome any additional donations. You can include any extra amount with your payment, and 100% of those contributions will go directly to Blake, Evan, and their children as they work to recover.
