Managing multiple TikTok accounts under one business umbrella doesn’t have to be chaotic. Here’s the official, scalable way to do it — using TikTok Business Center.
If you’re managing multiple brands, product lines, or divisions under one company, TikTok gives you an official way to keep it all organized — and it’s not just logging in and out of four different accounts on your phone.
TikTok Business Center is the platform’s centralized hub for exactly this kind of setup. It lets you connect multiple TikTok accounts, manage team permissions, centralize billing, run ads, and track performance — all without sharing passwords or flying blind across accounts. Here’s how to set it up properly, from scratch.
Step 1: Set Up TikTok Business Center
Before you create or connect any accounts, Business Center needs to exist first. Think of it as your umbrella — everything else goes under it.
Create Your Business Center
Go to ads.tiktok.com and create a TikTok for Business account if you don’t already have one. From there, you can create your Business Center account at business.tiktok.com.
Business Center gives you centralized control over ad accounts, TikTok profiles, pixels, TikTok Shop, team members, billing, and analytics — all in one dashboard.
Step 2: Verify Your Business Center
Verification is a step a lot of businesses skip early on and regret later. Do it before you start linking accounts — it’ll save you time because you can push that verified status to all four accounts at once instead of verifying each one separately.
Part A — Verify Company Information
Submit Your Business Documents
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager and go to Tools → Account Setup. Click “Verify now.” Select your entity type, enter your country, business name, and optionally your company website.
Upload your verification document and certificate number, making sure the information matches the document exactly. Click Submit. Review typically takes up to two business days.
What you’ll need:
- Valid business license matching the region where the business operates
- Business registration documents
- Domain verification for any web links
- Government-issued ID for the individual representing the brand
Part B — Verify Your Legal Representative (Recommended)
This step is optional for standard Business Center use but becomes mandatory if you ever want to create an Organization Account or scale to an Enterprise Business Center structure. If there’s any chance you’ll grow into that, do this now while you’re already in verification mode.
In the Verification tab of Business Center, confirm your legal representative’s information and submit the required identity documents alongside your company info.
Part C — Share Verification to All Four Accounts
This is where verifying at the Business Center level pays off. Once your Business Center shows a green “Verified” checkmark, you can push that status to all four connected TikTok accounts in a few clicks — no need to verify each account independently.
Share Verified Status
In Business Center, click “Share verification”, select Business Account as the account type, select all four Business Accounts, and click Confirm.
Then go to the Business Account verification section, click “View detail,” and confirm each account shows a Verified status. Each selected account will inherit the verified status of your Business Center.
Step 3: Create the Four TikTok Accounts
Each TikTok account needs its own unique login credentials. Before you start building accounts, line up your infrastructure first.
Once your emails are ready, open TikTok and go to your profile. Tap the dropdown next to your username, select “Add account,” and follow the signup process for each new account. Give each account its own profile photo, bio, and username so you can easily tell them apart when switching.
When prompted, switch each account from a Personal Account to a Business Account — TikTok will prompt you to do this when you connect it to Business Center anyway.
Step 4: Link All Four Accounts to Business Center
Connecting the accounts to your Business Center is what brings everything under one roof. Only a Business Center Admin can do this step.
Add Accounts via QR Code
In Business Center, click Accounts in the left menu, then TikTok Accounts → Add a TikTok Account. Choose “Link an existing TikTok account” and select the QR code option.
Select “Manage account” as the permission level. Then have the user logged into each TikTok account scan the QR code from the TikTok app: go to Profile → three dashes (top right) → Your QR Code → Scan icon. Repeat for all four accounts.
Once each account user approves the request, the accounts appear in your TikTok Accounts tab with “Manage account” shown in the Permissions column.
Step 5: Assign Team Roles and Permissions
Now that your accounts are connected, set up who can access what. This is where a lot of businesses get sloppy — don’t give everyone admin access.
Invite Team Members
Go to the Team section in Business Center and click “Invite Team Members.” Add email addresses and assign roles: Admin, Manager, or Analyst.
Customize permissions per person based on their actual responsibilities. An Admin can manage ads and accounts. A Manager might handle content publishing. An Analyst gets read-only access to analytics. Tightest access that lets someone do their job is the right call.
Step 6: Centralize Billing and Enable Security
Centralize Finances
Business Center lets you manage billing, payments, transactions, and invoices across all four accounts in one place. Set this up under the Finance section so you’re not chasing spend across separate accounts.
Turn On 2-Step Verification
While you’re in Business Settings, don’t skip this. It takes two minutes and protects everything you’ve just built.
Enable 2SV for Your Business Center
Go to Business Settings → Settings. In the Security section, click Edit next to “2-step verification” and select either “Only admins” or “All members.” Click Confirm.
Enabling it for all members is the recommended approach — it adds a layer of protection for every person who can touch your accounts and assets.
Rules That Protect Your Account Health
Getting the technical setup right is only half of it. Here’s what to keep in mind once you’re live with four accounts.
- No cross-account engagement.Don’t use your accounts to like or comment on each other’s content to inflate stats. TikTok detects coordinated inauthentic engagement and will penalize it.
- No duplicate content.TikTok’s algorithm limits reach for reposted videos that appear on multiple accounts you control — it gets flagged as spam. Tailor content to each account’s audience.
- Keep each account compliant.A violation on one account can draw scrutiny to the others. All four accounts need to follow TikTok’s community guidelines independently.
- Each account stands on its own.Let each account grow organically based on its own content and audience. Don’t create artificial engagement loops between them.
