Ripl Creative is pleased to welcome Alec Castro, who will join the team as Account Executive on February 2. Alec brings a strong background in destination marketing, business development, and strategic relationship building.
Alec joins Ripl Creative from Visit Johnson City, where he most recently served as Director of Business Development. In that role, he supported the destination’s growth through integrated sales and marketing initiatives, data-informed strategy, and collaborative partnerships across hospitality, government, and civic organizations.
Throughout his career, Alec has focused on connecting people to place and purpose. His experience spans destination marketing, performing arts administration, and live event management, with an emphasis on long-term partnerships and meaningful storytelling that drives measurable impact.
He is currently completing an MBA in Business Analytics at East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College, holding professional credentials as a Travel Marketing Professional and Festival and Event Planner.
At Ripl Creative, Alec will focus on building strategic partnerships, supporting client growth, and helping organizations tell stories that resonate with audiences and perform across channels.
